Service
All Customer Service is handled through our Akron facility. Occasionally, we may request customers to return certain parts to our DeWitt, IA or Ooltewah, TN facilities.
All returns must have prior authorization. Contact a department representative for an RGA number. (See Returned Goods Policy.)

Warranty Policy
Paladin Heavy Construction (PHC) warrants its products against faulty design, material and workmanship of it for a period of one (1) year from date of delivery or 2,000 hours whichever comes first. Standard JRB Series Loader Couplers are warranted for three (3) years or 3,000 hours, whichever comes first. Special Interchange Loader Couplers and Excavator Couplers are warranted for a period of one (1) year from date of delivery or 1,000 hours whichever comes first. Refer to Product Manual for proper maintenance procedures.
JRB couplers are manufactured with a patented design to interface with JRB attachments, OEM attachments and JRB female adapters (ribs). The use of attachments other than JRB attachments, OEM attachments and JRB female adapters (ribs) will void all warranty on the JRB coupler. The use of JRB adapters on unapproved attachments is not sanctioned. A "home made" or non-standard attachment outside the specifications for the machine will void the warranty on the JRB coupler.
Hydraulic kits and components are warranted for one (1) year from factory delivery date. Cylinders must be returned in their entirety and not have been disassembled to be considered for warranty. Disassembly, modification or welding of cylinders without PHC written authorization voids the warranty on the cylinder and the seals. All valves must be packaged and sealed to prevent contaminates from entering the valve during shipment. Valves improperly packaged will not be considered for warranty. Hydraulic hoses are warranted against failure due to workmanship. Improper installation, ripping or cutting due to unauthorized modifications of JRB installation procedures is not warranted. A qualified Dealer or PHC representative must install hydraulic kits and components for failures to be given warranty consideration.
Paladin Heavy Construction will repair or replace at its option, any equipment satisfactorily proven to be of faulty design, material or workmanship. Warranty replacement parts will be shipped second day air. This warranty does not include or cover purchased subassemblies including, but not limited to, teeth, tines (forks), cylinders, blades, etc. Such items being subject to OEM’s Warranty, if any, of their respective manufacturers.
Dealer labor rate charges on approved repairs shall not exceed 70% of dealer regular hourly rate. Overtime charges need prior written approval. Claims received 30 days past the repair date will not be considered for warranty.
Warranty is void if products are modified in any matter without PRIOR expressed written authorization from Paladin Heavy Construction.
Paladin Heavy Construction will honor any authorized repairs performed by the dealer or outside company other than Paladin Heavy Construction only once for work of a similar nature. Warranty recovery will not be allowed in the event an attachment is placed in an application for which it is not intended. Any malicious use, use beyond the rated capacity, accident to, misuse, or negligence will void this Warranty.
This Policy covers only parts manufactured by Paladin Heavy Construction and does not apply to products manufactured or supplied by others or any parts sold as "Used". Normal wear and tear will not be considered as a defect.
All parts claimed to be defective are to be returned, freight prepaid, for inspection, unless Paladin Heavy Construction elects to waive the return of parts. Paladin Heavy Construction will require a complete description, with photographs, detailing failure on an approved Warranty Claim Form. Call the Product Support Department for an RGA number (returned goods authorization) prior to returning any warranty item.
Down time by a dealer’s customer or loss of machine productivity due to attachment failure or damage of any products not listed are not covered under this policy.
This Warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other Warranties, expressed or implied including, without limitation, any implied warranty arising from course of dealing, course of performance, or course of trade the implied Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and any obligation or liability arising from tort or for loss of use, revenue or profit. Paladin Heavy Construction will not be held responsible for any incidental or consequential damages or expenses of any kind whatsoever.
Any Warranty approved by Paladin Heavy Construction and performed by the dealer will be honored by the issuance of a CREDIT to the purchasing dealer to be applied toward future purchases. Repairs performed by the end-user will not be considered for warranty.
This statement sets forth the entire warranty and any oral statements cannot be relied upon and are not part of this Policy.

Warranty Procedures
Upon notification of a problem/failure on a Paladin Heavy Construction (PHC) component, please advise the PHC Customer Service Department as to the following: PHC attachment serial number, description of failure, hours on attachment, comments pertaining to failure.
If repair will require PHC parts, you must refer to warranty policy when ordering parts through either the PHC Parts Department or directly with the PHC Customer Service Department. Warranty items will be shipped second day air.
Upon receipt of replacement parts or written approval from the PHC Customer Sevice Department to proceed with warranty resolution, all defective parts must be retained for 90 days for possible evaluation by Paladin Heavy Construction: Failure to retain defective parts will result in cancellation of any warranty consideration.
If a defective component is deemed necessary to be returned to Paladin Heavy Construction a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number will be issued. All returned items must show an RGA number.
If a defective component can be fixed at your location or in the field, please notify Paladin Heavy Construction for approved rework authorization. When possible, send a picture of the defect to the PHC Product Support Department before proceeding with any repairs.
Upon completion of the repairs and warranty consideration is requested, send all pertinent documentation showing labor hours, materials, and any other warranty cost pertaining to the repairs. Please use a Paladin Heavy Construction Warranty Claim form when requesting warranty consideration along with supporting documentation. Freight and mileage fees are the dealer’s responsibility, unless otherwise stated.
The PHC Product Support Department will quote flat rate hours for any repair judged to require more than two hours to complete. If problems are encountered that were not addressed originally, PHC must be contacted to obtain written authorization for additional labor hours. PHC cannot be responsible for work performed without prior written notification.

Returned Goods Policy - Parts/Sales
Items shipped in error
Paladin Heavy Construction will accept returned items, with prior approval of Paladin Heavy Construction (see RGA), within thirty (30) days after shipment without a restocking charge, freight collect.
Items ordered in error
Paladin Heavy Construction will accept returned items, with prior approval of Paladin Heavy Construction (see RGA), which have been ordered in error, within thirty (30) days after shipment with a 15% restocking charge, freight prepaid.
Non-current items
Paladin Heavy Construction will not accept returned items, which are special order or used on non-current machines. Paladin Heavy Construction will offer these items for sale through normal distribution channels to assist the customer in selling these items if our original "Terms of Sale" have been met.
Service Parts
Paladin Heavy Construction will accept returned service parts items, which were ordered in error, with prior approval of Paladin Heavy Construction (see RGA), within thirty (30) days after shipment with a 25% restocking charge, freight prepaid.
RGA - Returned Goods Authorization
All return items must have the prior approval of Paladin Heavy Construction and be assigned an RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) number by either the PHC Sales or Parts Department and must be returned within (30) days of request.

Cancellation Policy
Current price list items
Orders cancelled will carry a cancellation charge equal to 10% of the net invoice of the item (minimum $100 charge).
Non-Current and Non-Standard items
Orders cancelled will carry a cancellation charge equivalent to 100% of the net invoice price.
